Uploading a Video to Your Homesync Library

Adding videos to your homesync library is the first step toward sharing content across social networks like Facebook and Instagram or uploading to platforms like YouTube. Follow the steps below to upload your video efficiently.

How to Upload a Video

  1. Click Videos in your navigation bar.

  2. Select Upload Video.

  3. Click the large grey box labeled Choose Video.

  4. Choose the video file from your device.

  5. Enter a title and description for your video.

  6. Click Upload to begin processing.

Processing Time & Optimization

Once your video is uploaded, homesync begins processing it to optimize playback across different social platforms. This typically takes 20-30 seconds, though larger files may take up to a minute. You’ll receive a notification when processing is complete.

Where Your Videos Are Stored

Each video is stored within your individual homesync profile, allowing you to manage and publish your content seamlessly across your connected networks.

Aspect Ratios & Automatic Formatting

To ensure your videos display correctly on various platforms, homesync automatically generates multiple versions with optimized aspect ratios:

  • Vertical videos (9:16) – Ideal for TikTok, Instagram Stories, and Facebook Reels.

  • Standard widescreen (16:9) – Commonly used on YouTube and Facebook feeds.

homesync intelligently selects and publishes the appropriate format for each platform, ensuring your content fits without extra manual adjustments. You can view these different versions by navigating to your Videos section within your profile
