Connecting Your LinkedIn Accounts to Homesync

With Homesync, you can seamlessly manage your LinkedIn profiles and pages, ensuring that your professional presence is always at its best. Here’s how to connect your LinkedIn accounts to Homesync:

LinkedIn Profiles

A LinkedIn profile represents your personal LinkedIn account. LinkedIn profiles can only be attached to personal Homesync profiles and not business profiles. By connecting your LinkedIn profile to Homesync, you can easily view your timeline, post updates, comment, and like posts directly from within the platform.

Steps to Attach Your LinkedIn Profile to Your Personal Homesync Profile

Step 1: Add the LinkedIn App to Your Profile

1. Click “+Add More Apps” in your navigation bar.

2. Find the “LinkedIn” app and click “Install”.

Step 2: Authenticate LinkedIn

1. Click “LinkedIn” in your navigation bar.

2. Click “Authenticate” in the center of your screen.

3. Authorize LinkedIn to provide Homesync with the necessary permissions for the application to work.

4. You will be redirected back to Homesync where your LinkedIn profile will be authenticated.

Note: Homesync requests the most basic permissions needed to ensure successful LinkedIn integration. Homesync abides by all LinkedIn Terms of Service and respects your privacy.

LinkedIn Pages

LinkedIn Pages are essential for building a strong business reputation. LinkedIn Pages can only be linked to Homesync business profiles. To manage a LinkedIn Page on Homesync, you must be an administrator of the Page on LinkedIn.

Steps to Attach a LinkedIn Page to Your Homesync Business Profile

Step 1: Authenticate Your Personal LinkedIn Profile with Your Personal Homesync Profile

• Follow the steps outlined in the LinkedIn Profiles section to authenticate your LinkedIn profile.

Step 2: Choose Which Pages You Would Like to Manage

1. Click “LinkedIn” in your navigation bar.

2. Click “Pages” in the horizontal navigation bar at the center of your page.

3. A list of Pages you are associated with on LinkedIn will display.

4. Click “Manage Page” next to the Page you would like to manage.

Step 3: Associate a LinkedIn Page with a Homesync Business Profile

1. Click “LinkedIn” in your navigation bar.

2. Click “Pages” in the horizontal navigation bar at the center of your page.

3. Pages you are already managing will have a “View Page” button.

4. Click “View Page” on the Page you would like to associate.

5. Click the three cog wheels () at the right side of the horizontal navigation bar.

6. Click the “Attach to Profile” button next to the profile you would like to attach the Page to.

Note: Depending on your business account type, there may be limitations on the number of LinkedIn Pages that can be attached to a profile. To increase this limit, you can upgrade your account.
