Post Snippets let you save reusable text and insert it into your posts with a single click. They’re perfect for things you type over and over again — like hashtag groups, calls-to-action, promo footers, disclaimers, or recurring captions.

Post Snippets help you:

      • Save time

      • Stay consistent across posts

      • Reduce repetitive typing

      • Avoid copy/paste errors

You can create an unlimited number of Post Snippets.

Note: Post Snippets are currently available in desktop browsers only. They are not yet supported on mobile browsers or the Homesync app.

How to Create a Post Snippet

      1. Open the Post Composer (Desktop).

      1. Click Post Snippets.

      1. Click Create New Snippet.

      1. Enter:
          • A name (for easy identification)

          • The text you want saved (hashtags, CTA, etc.)

      1. Click Save.

Your snippet is now ready to use in any future post.

How to Insert a Post Snippet

      1. Open the Post Composer.

      1. Begin writing your post.

      1. Click Post Snippets.

      1. Click + on the snippet you want to insert.

The snippet will be inserted directly into your post content.

You can insert multiple snippets into the same post if needed.

    Recently Used Hashtags

Homesync automatically remembers your most recently used hashtags. These can be quickly reinserted without needing to save them manually as a snippet.

This makes it easy to reuse your common hashtag sets while still keeping flexibility in your workflow.

    Tips for Best Results

      • Create separate snippets for different platforms (e.g., Instagram hashtags vs. LinkedIn CTAs).

      • Name your snippets clearly (e.g., “Local Hashtags – Atlanta”).

      • Keep frequently used promo text saved to avoid typos.

      • Update seasonal snippets (like holiday promos) as needed.

Mobile and app support may be added in a future update.
